Offered for sale is an exceptionally rare 2005 Jeep Wrangler LJ Rubicon Unlimited - a model regarded as one of the most desirable Wranglers ever produced. The LJ was only manufactured for 2 years with 13,000 units worldwide and are very rare in the UK. Add a professionally executed LS3 V8 conversion, heavy-duty drivetrain upgrades and an off-road suspension build, and this becomes something truly special. Originally imported from the USA, this left-hand-drive LJ underwent an extensive transformation by Sunderland 4x4 in 2008, creating what can only be described as the ultimate expedition and rock-crawling Wrangler. Power comes from a Chevrolet LS3 V8 producing an estimated 450bhp, with fewer than 3,000 miles on the engine and approximately 61,000 miles on the chassis (total mileage). The conversion included removal, cleaning and refinishing of the chassis before reassembly. Mechanically sound and MOT'd until June 2027. Chassis has been refreshed recently. As expected from a Jeep that has been used as intended, there are some minor paint chips and minor dents from off-road adventures, adding to its authenticity rather than detracting from it.
