We bought from the original owner, so one previous owner. Our California is in excellent condition for age and mileage; kept garaged with full service history and receipts for all work. She drives exceptionally well and is very comfortable either as a day vehicle or when touring on long journeys. The interior fabrics are in very good condition. The front two seats have always had (washable) seat covers, which are exactly like the original seat covers, so the original seat covers are like new! The rear seat has always been covered with a blanket to protect it from wear. Kitchen: A well designed and lightweight kitchen area: sink and tap with washing-up bowl, two-burner gas hob, digitally- controlled fridge with two large kitchen cupboards and cutlery drawer and onboard water supply with electric pump, all very easy to use. The two front seats swivel independently and a table slides up for dining for 4 or there's a table for eating outdoors, hidden in the sliding door and two lightweight directors' chairs, which fit neatly into a zipped compartment in the tailgate. Sleeping: The rear bench easily folds flat and creates a comfortable bed for two downstairs; while the electric pop-top roof also raises up to create space for two more. This bed has a slatted frame and padded mattress, which is very comfortable with reading light and zipped windows with mesh panels which can be unzipped for extra ventilation or daylight. When the upper bed is not being used it can be raised, to provide full standing height. There are very well designed built-in blinds for the windows and a fabric blind for the front window. There is also a very efficient Eberspascher diesel powered heater, fantastic for camping when the weather turns chilly or first thing in the morning before the sun has warmed up!
