Description
Aston Martin DB9 5.9 V12 | ~500 BHP / ~600 Nm | Nearly 10k Invested in Last 12 Months
A very well cared for 2006 Aston Martin DB9 5.9 V12 with 52,850 miles. Over the last 12 months I have invested nearly 10K bringing the car up to an excellent mechanical and cosmetic standard through preventative maintenance, restoration and carefully selected upgrades.
With the Aston Martin Ram Air inlet upgrade, custom-made stainless steel exhaust and Phantom tuning, the car produces approximately 500 bhp and 600 Nm of torque.
The custom built exhaust is one of the highlights of the car. It was designed to retain the refinement expected of a DB9, so during normal driving and motorway cruising it remains civilised and comfortable. Take it beyond approximately 4,000-5,000 rpm and it really allows the V12 to sing. It sounds incredible under load without being unnecessarily loud during everyday driving.
Recent work includes:
-Major service & extensive brake work by Vantage Engineering
- Custom-made long-life stainless steel exhaust
- Aston Martin Ram Air inlet upgrade
- Phantom tuning
- Four new premium tyres
- New battery & fluids
- A/C condenser replacement & re-gas
- Clear rear light conversion, professionally restored & rebuilt
- Piano Black ski slope dashboard restoration
- Roof lining refurbishment
- Bluetooth integration
- New boot & bonnet gas struts, wipers & other maintenance/detailing items
Importantly, I have retained the complete original Aston Martin exhaust system and original airbox assemblies, all of which will be supplied with the car, allowing it to be returned to factory specification if desired.
The car has just been professionally valeted and presents extremely well inside and out. I also have a detailed expenditure record documenting the work and investment made during my ownership, together with supporting history and paperwork.
MOT until July 2027.
A reluctant sale of a DB9 I have thoroughly enjoyed. Only for sale because I have purchased another vehicle for work.
Serious enquiries and inspections welcome.
