1997 Mazda RX-7 FD RS Edition - Compression Tested, Extensive Maintenance, Excellent Condition Beautiful FD RX-7 RS Edition imported from Japan in 2020 and carefully maintained throughout my ownership. A very honest example that remains largely unmodified, with most changes easily reversible. Compression tested on 14/06/2026 with healthy results. Mechanically the car runs superbly and has benefited from substantial preventative maintenance in 2025 including replacement solenoids, vacuum lines, water pump and a comprehensive engine bay refresh. The turbos have also been serviced and a new battery fitted in 2026. The car was my daily driven until 2024 until my commute distance warrented I use a different vehicle. Since then it has sat largely undriven. Fitted with an Apexi Power FC ECU and Commander handset. The Oil Metering Pump has been deleted, meaning the car runs on premix fuel, a common rotary modification. Included are 2 x 5L containers of premix oil, spare turbo rebuild kits and all removed factory components. Suspension was refreshed in 2024 with full polyurethane bushes, J-Auto pillow bush upgrades and polyurethane engine mounts (original mounts included). Brake calipers were refurbished in 2026 with new discs and pads that have covered less than 50 miles. The car sits on SSR GTV01 wheels with good tyres and Tein adjustable coilovers. Wheels have some cosmetic kerbing and the coilovers show minor surface corrosion on the adjustment threads from UK road use. Interior is in excellent condition for its age with reupholstered front and rear seats featuring embroidered Efini logos, Nardi steering wheel with NRG carbon quick-release hub, Greddy gear knob, short shifter and a JVC head unit with Bluetooth and Android Auto. Dashboard and gauges are in great condition. Professionally repainted in 2025 in the original Chaste White. Also fitted with aluminium door handles, new front and rear badges, several replaced door and window seals, new front bumper lights and much more.
