Although this car is driveable and has passed its most recent MOT, I would recommend it only to someone starting out driving, or a rover fanatic who may wish to passion the car or extract valuable parts. I have been driving this car for the last 3 years, and to be truthful it is working fully except that there is a starter motor issue. Meaning the car struggles to start in winter and the contact terminals need to be resurfaced, or the glow plugs replaced perhaps. The battery is new and the voltage output is perfect. The alternator is new and the alternator output is perfect, as measured with a multimeter. If the starter conditions are fixed, this car could run without any issues. However, the price I am selling at is mostly just the value of the parts in the bonnet. Note: a 2 litre diesel engine on an old banger will be temperamental in winter, and without fixing the starter issues will likely yield difficulty that won't be noticed if you come test drive this during summer. Having said that, you are more than welcome to come inspect/test drive the car. Kind regards Omer
