This is a great car, and I am reluctant to sell, but my father has given me his younger model (another ever-reliable Vauxhall Astra) and that means this one unfortunately has to go! This car has been super reliable for father and then daughter for eight years, never letting us down. It runs really well with good acceleration. It is comfortable and efficient on local roads and long motorway journeys and is used on both with no difficulties. The car has been professsionally maintained and we have most but not all of the service history from new. The car had one owner, and was then owned by my father and then by me, his daughter, since 2018. The car has two keys. The bodywork has cosmetic issues - many light scratches, marks and small dents. One wing mirror casing is cracked. The glove box closure is not working. The seats are stained especially in the rear. Recently there has been a noise when braking. It was examined by a good car repair garage. They checked it thoroughly and said it is safe to drive and will only need work doing if the ABS light comes on. Because of this I have set the price below market value and I am open to sensible offers. Other than this the car is mechanically sound. If you are looking for a reliable, good-value car and don't mind the cosmetic issues or taking care of the brakes/ABS issue , this could be a great choice
