BMW E91 320d Touring M Sport Plus The timing chain on this car has failed. It will require a replacement engine or partial rebuild. The vehicle does not drive so will need towing away. The car cut out whilst taking off at traffic lights and i coasted it to a lay-by. I had it recovered to a garage who told me the timing chain had failed. No further investigation work has taken place but i have to assume the worst. The car is the rare M Sport Plus model with 167000 miles. Recent clean MOT, had both rear shocks replaced for the mot. Recent discs and pads all round. 3 new tyres. Everything works as it should apart from the engine. It has full black leather interior, widescreen sat nav, BMW connect drive system. Cruise control, air con, heated leather seats, automatic with sport and manual mode which is smooth through all gears. Electric tinted windows all round. LED down lights on the door handles, comfort lighting pack. It's worth more in parts but I don't have the time to spend on it. this car is worth putting back in the road if you know what you are doing. A replacement engine would be the most economical way to repair. The damage may be limited as i was only doing about 15mph when it went and i coasted to a stop. Any questions please ask.
