VW Up! Take Up! For Sale I'm selling my little red VW Up! Take Up!, which I've owned for around 10 months. I'm only selling because I'm now looking for something a little bigger. It's been a fantastic little car and has served me extremely well, including regular journeys of around 200 miles per day, without missing a beat. Condition & Known Issues I want to be completely transparent about the car's condition: There is a slight coolant leak when the heater is switched on. It doesn't appear to happen when the heater is off. I haven't had the time to have this investigated, but it may be a relatively straightforward repair. There is a slight central locking issue. The car can be locked from the driver's side, but currently needs to be unlocked from the passenger side, meaning you have to climb across to access the driver's door. There is rust around the fuel filler cap. This is fairly noticeable, but I have been advised that it is cosmetic rather than a safety issue. The passenger-side undertray needs some repair, although there is nothing I'm aware of that is serious or affects the car's ability to drive. The car had a new battery fitted in January. The MOT is due to expire at the end of October. Overall, this has been a reliable and economical little car that has done me very well. I'm being upfront about the issues so there are no surprises for the next owner.
