2013 Vauxhall Astra GTC 1.4 Turbo Manual -partial service history - 62,000 Miles - SPARES/REPAIR The interior is in excellent condition for its age, with some age-related marks to the exterior as expected. IMPORTANT - ENGINE ISSUE: The car currently starts, runs and drives, but is being sold as a spares/repair/project vehicle. The car previously developed a coolant loss/head gasket issue. The cylinder head was removed, found to be slightly warped and sent away for skimming. A new head gasket and bolts were fitted, along with a new timing chain kit, water pump, thermostat, manifold gaskets, oil and filter. The cooling system was also bled and the vehicle was subsequently road tested. Unfortunately, the vehicle has since developed a further cooling system issue. My mechanic's latest diagnosis is that he suspects a crack in the coolant jacket within the cylinder head, causing the coolant to boil/pressurise. I have been quoted 730 for a replacement head, head gasket and bolts, with no labour charge, but I've decided that I don't want to invest any further money into the vehicle and am therefore selling it. 1,495 ONO
