Description

Up for sale is my Mercedes-Benz SLK 280, finished in classic silver with a stunning red leather interior. It's a brilliant, responsive little pocket rocket with loads of fun-in-the-sun open-top motoring still to offer. Had a major service at its last MOT and has barely been driven since. Selling solely to free up funds for van repairs. Specification & Features Airscarf: Neck-level heating system for comfortable open-top driving in cooler weather. Heated Seats: Full leather sport seats with multi-stage heating. Navigation & Audio: Factory Sat Nav system installed. Controls: Leather multi-function steering wheel. Roof, Wheels & Tyres The electro-hydraulic Vario hardtop roof opens and closes 100% perfectly with zero issues. Fitted with upgraded Wolfrace alloy wheels with minimal tyre wear (wheels would benefit from a refurbishment to look pristine). Bonus: Original Mercedes alloy wheels with good tyres are also available, depending on the agreed sale price. Bodywork & Drive Smooth, powerful V6 engine and automatic gearboxruns and drives fantastic. Bodywork is in near-perfect condition for its age, saving for a few minor car park dinks and light marks consistent with a 20-year-old vehicle. MOT & Known Issues (Priced Accordingly) MOT Status: MOT expired on 06/08/2026. The car received a major service alongside its last test and has covered roughly 100 miles since, so there is no reason it shouldn't pass another once the SRS light is sorted. SRS Light: Currently displaying an SRS warning light on the dash, causing the MOT lapse. The seatbelts and safety system are finethe issue appears to be a driver's side sensor error, which can be coded/repaired with the correct diagnostic equipment. Passenger Window: Cannot be operated from the driver's master switch. Passenger Door: Does not lock via the central locking remote (needs manual locking/unlocking). A fantastic, high-spec V6 roadster project for an enthusiast or mechanic who can easily sort the minor electrical niggles and gain a lot of car for the money.
