Description

A genuine, exceptionally well cared for Freelander 1 2.0 Td4. With only 1 previous owner from new and 19 service records (18 of them being main dealer/specialist services), this car has been treated greatly. Every single issue that ever came up was fixed immediately loads of money has been spent, backed up by a mountain of paperwork. My mother bought this car in August last year from a car auction. She didn't like the heavy steering, so I decided to buy it off her the very same week. We intentionally kept the logbook in her name so we didn't add any "ghost owners" to the history. Mechanically, this car has been incredible. Not a single problem has come up during my ownership. Taking the hardtop off in the summer has been an absolute blast, and I am genuinely sad to let it go. I am only selling it now because I am starting university this September and need a smaller petrol car for short commutes. The Package Includes: 2 keys Brand new, fresh MOT Last serviced in August last year (less than 10,000 miles ago) Premium Michelin tyres fitted last summer (including a brand new Michelin spare tyre!) Original factory touch-up paint kit Radio fascia and wiring adapters (perfect for upgrading the stereo) A few spare exterior plastic trim pieces Points to Note: Small tear in the driver's seat fabric A few minor nicks and scratches around the bodywork (hardly noticeable) A couple of tiny chips on the windscreen (passed MOT fine) Rear parking sensors recently stopped working The rear tailgate window can be a bit fidgety but still opens and closes fully The fuel tank flap cover has slight corrosion (one of the most common Freelander 1 flaws) Test drives are welcome if you bring your own temporary comprehensive insurance. To keep it completely fair, I am happy to deduct the cost of your temporary cover from the final agreed price. Car is still in use so mileage will go up
