Description
2004 (04) Skoda Fabia vRS (1.9 TDI PD130)
The time has come to sell my much-loved 2004 Skoda Fabia vRS. This particular example has been meticulously cared for, mechanically sympathetically driven, and strictly maintained to ensure it drives exactly as it should.
Maintenance & Servicing
The car comes with a thick folder of history and receipts. I have always prioritised the mechanical health of this car above all else, this includes the replacement of:
Clutch & Flywheel
Alternator
All brake Callipers
Radiator
Both Front Window Regulators
Lower Arm Ball joints.
A more extensive list can be provided if requested.
I have kept the car OEM+ with a few light modifications for styling and handling:
Audi TT Competition Wheels (17In) (Refurbished by me)
AP Coilovers (Fitted with new top mounts all round)
Mechanically the car is incredibly strong, pulls cleanly through all gears, does not excessively consume any oil or water, and handles brilliantly.
Glow Plug light is flashing due to a known cruise control fault (Electrical, not engine related) - for this I have changed the brake pedal and clutch pedal switches, so it is likely that it just needs a new cruise stalk. This does not affect how the car drives at all.
Aesthetically, as a 2004 car with 136000 miles you can expect to see age related marks and scuffs, a few minor stone chips on the front end and so on. As the photos show, the drivers sill is beginning to suffer from some rust (surface level). A few dents and dinks can also be seen from previous ownership.
Similarly, the white interior does show signs of its age and 136000 mile usage, particularly on the drivers bluster, an otherwise smoke-free and clean interior, with a Pioneer head unit.
A few spare parts can be found in the boot of the car, engine oil, coolant, auxiliary belt, and a cabin filter. All parts are new and ready to be fitted.
This is not a neglected, abused example. It is a properly sorted, mechanically excellent car that needs nothing but a new owner to enjoy it. The V5C is present in my name, along with all the service history and receipts.
The car will be sold as seen so viewings are highly recommended and welcomed. Test drives will be conducted by myself unless you can prove you have fully comprehensive insurance to drive the vehicle.
Drop me a message if you have any more questions about the car or the work done to it!
