Description
The car has been well maintained throughout its life and drives well, with the 1.4 i-VTEC petrol engine and manual gearbox both working well. I have owned the car for two years, having purchased it from the previous owner, who had owned it from new.
The car passed its MOT last week, but has two advisories for corrosion to both the front and rear subframes. I have had this assessed and have been advised that approximately 1,000-2,000 of work may be required. I have therefore priced the car accordingly and am being completely upfront about this.
The red paintwork has also faded and peeled in places, particularly on the front and rear bumpers, wing mirror and tailgate, with some early peeling now appearing on the roof. The condition of the paintwork is clearly shown in the photographs and is reflected in the asking price.
Despite these issues, this is a low-mileage Civic with a full Honda service history. It was last serviced by Honda on 23/10/25. In 2024, the rear disc brakes were replaced by Honda. At another garage a new battery was fitted, and the front, rear and centre sections of the exhaust were replaced. The engine and gearbox are in good working order and the car drives well.
This could suit someone looking for a reliable, low-mileage Civic who is prepared to undertake the necessary corrosion repairs, or someone with the skills to carry out the work themselves.
The car is being sold honestly and at a price that reflects its current condition.
