2012 Audi A6 SE 2.0 TDI Multitronic (CVT Automatic) I'm the third keeper and have owned it since July 2017, so it's been with me for the best part of nine years. It's been a brilliant car - comfortable, dependable and relaxing to drive. The only reason it's for sale is that I've recently bought an estate to suit life with a new dog on the way. This car is pet-free and never smoked in. 133,388 miles, MOT until 14th September 2026 and a good service history, with much of its earlier life maintained by Audi. It had an oil change this year and, over the years, it's been looked after properly, including a full service during my ownership that included the timing belt replacement and water pump. The Multitronic automatic gearbox is probably the smoothest I've driven. It has Tiptronic mode and paddle shifters if you want manual control, but I've never really felt the need. The bodywork is very good. It's a 15-year-old car, so there are a few age-related marks if you look closely. There's also a small patch of surface rust low down on one door, clearly shown in the photos. It's never bothered me, but it would be an easy cosmetic fix if desired. Inside, it reminds you why these Audis were so highly regarded. The leather seats are in excellent condition, the aluminium trim still looks great and everything feels solid and well put together. Even the doors close with that satisfying, weighty thud. My replacement feels noticeably lighter by comparison. Whether that's progress is up to you, but this A6 still feels reassuringly solid every time you drive it. There are just two small things to mention. The dual-zone climate control is ice cold. The driver's window regulator has recently failed (motor still works). My garage quoted around 150 using a genuine Audi part, or around 25 for an aftermarket regulator if you're handy. I've simply not got around to it. Secondly, the keyless start occasionally requires the key to be held against the dashboard sensor. Audi designed this as a backup method and it starts instantly every time. It has never left me stranded. I'd happily set off across Europe. It's exactly the sort of car that quietly eats up motorway miles in comfort. It's not a showroom car, and I'm not pretending it is. It's a well-looked-after A6 that's looked after me for nearly a decade. Hopefully it'll do the same for its next owner. Viewings welcome.
