Description

We've had this car for 5 years, bought as my wife's first car so not heavily driven. Maintained well, serviced and Mot'd, new tyres on rear, less that 200 miles on fronts (Michelin Pilot Sport on front). Recently had front and rear springs replaced so a bit more forgiving on pot holes. 1.6 S Line so quicker turbo engagement than the regular editions - I felt this was safer to avoid hazards with some power compared to non-turbo versions. MPG is excellent and Road tax is GBP30 per year. There are some body work issues - paint on bonnet has cracked where the engine generates heat, quoted GBP250 to fix but it doesn't affect performance so haven't had it done. There is also a small dent on the bonnet, quoted GBP80 to fix but again not concerned, we think it was done by a bin man accidentally. Lower body kit has a dent, we think caused by a tow bar. Some paint on the rear drivers side pillar has mottled, this was present when we bought it - again not major so have ignored. Pictures show these. Recently replaced the rear wiper motor and the boot lid hydraulics as the as they had seized. Both common issues. It's a really nice drive, solid and great on the motorway. Holds its own at speed and the s-line turbo really helps make it a nice drive. Really sad to see it go but it is surplus to requirements and would make a very nice first car, university car or daily run about. I would say if you are thinking about a 2.0L, for the running costs, I would consider this instead as costs are much lower, but the power from this version is more than enough depending on needs.
