Very well looked-after Lexus IS250-L, priced very competitively compared with similar models and mileages. I am only selling because I am moving abroad, otherwise I would absolutely keep the car. The car comes with a large folder of full service and maintenance history and has been extremely well cared for. Everything has been done on time, including the gearbox service. Just a few months ago I had a full service carried out, replaced the two tyres that were getting low on tread, and it then passed its MOT with no advisories. Mechanically the car is excellent and there is nothing that needs spending on it. This is the facelift 2009 model, with updated lights and Bluetooth, and being the IS250-L specification it comes very well equipped, including heated and cooled/ventilated front seats, reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, Bluetooth, automatic lights, fully electric seats and electric lumbar support. The mileage is currently around 79,800 miles and may go up slightly as I still use the car occasionally. For one of these Lexuses this is very low mileage for the age. These cars are well known for covering very high mileages when properly maintained, with many examples reaching 250,000 miles and beyond without major repairs. That reputation for reliability was one of the main reasons I bought this car. The only point worth mentioning is a scratch on the rear bumper caused while the car was parked. I took it to VG Auto, one of the best-reviewed bodyshops/detailers in the city and a place I trust with the car. They quoted 300. I am taking responsibility for that 300, so the buyer can either: 1. Have 300 deducted from the price and repair it wherever they prefer. 2. Keep the 300 saving if the scratch does not bother them. 3. Leave a deposit and I will have VG Auto repair it professionally before collection instead of reducing the price. Other than that, the car is extremely well looked after mechanically and overall: full history, gearbox serviced, recent full service, two recent tyres and MOT with no advisories. The price is competitive because I am moving abroad and want a straightforward sale, not because there is anything wrong with the car. Any inspection is very welcome, including an independent mechanical inspection. I am completely confident in the car and happy for any serious buyer to check it properly.
