Description
AUDI S3 8P QUATTRO - 2009 - JAPANESE IMPORT
Selling my 2009 Audi S3 8P Quattro. I am the 2nd owner from new, and the car has covered just 99,500km, under 62,500 miles
Japanese import with genuinely low mileage for its age. The car has been well looked after and comes with the original Japanese Audi service book with Audi stamps, as well as the other Audi booklets/manuals.
The car drives very well and goes through all 6 gears perfectly at any speed. Engine runs well and the car is otherwise a very enjoyable S3 to drive.

The car has an intermittent reverse gear issue. Sometimes reverse engages and works completely normally first time. On the occasions it doesn't select reverse, turning the car off and back on always allows reverse to engage again when I've tried.
I have already had this investigated by a VW/Audi specialist, including gearbox/mechatronic diagnostics. The mechatronic unit was also sent away to ECU Testing for professional testing.
I have been advised that the issue is likely related to the DSG clutch system and that replacing the clutches may resolve the issue, although this has not been guaranteed.
I have already spent money and time having the issue investigated and don't want to put any more into the car myself, which is why I'm selling it at 5,500.
I have invoices/receipts for the work and diagnostics carried out, which will be provided to the buyer.
RECENT WORK CARRIED OUT:
Spark plugs replaced
Coil packs replaced
Wheel alignment carried out
Gearbox/mechatronic diagnostic
Mechatronic unit professionally tested by ECU Testing
Receipts/invoices available for the above
COSMETIC POINTS:
The Tyres and alloys need some TLC/refurbishment, there is also a small crack in the windscreen. It does not affect the car's operation and there is no water ingress, but I'm mentioning it for complete transparency.
Overall, this is a low-mileage, 2-owner S3 that drives very well and is being sold cheaply due to intermittent reverse issue.
