Description
Gonna spare you the fluff. This was my daily driver E46, meticulously maintained, but I simply don't find pleasure in working on my own cars anymore. It's been laid up in the garage for about 3 months and counting, so it's time to find it a new home.
The mileage sits at just over 92,000. The drivetrain has no faults to speak of and has been utterly reliable, on account of being routinely maintained by myself with receipts to prove.
What It Needs -- (Being transparent so nobody wastes their time):
Fluids: Oil and brake fluid are due. Gearbox and diff fluid still have plenty of life left.
Gaskets: New owner should factor in a new valve cover gasket, as there is a small weep coming from it (evidenced by a smoke test).
Cosmetics: Would benefit from a matching headlight. The original unit failed and was replaced with an eBay temporary unit; despite attempts to clear it up, it's visibly more yellow than the passenger side.
Otherwise, the car is spot on, drives brilliantly, and represents a very honest, low-mileage 3-litre manual coupe.
I love(d) this car and would be more than happy to talk the buyer's ear off about what they can expect, how I can help, and what the car has been through.
