Description
It is with great reluctance that I am posting my January 2007 Convertible for sale. First registered in UK by me in October 2008.
A genuine LHD v6, 4.0 litre American import, not a UK 3.6 Eco boost!
Since I bought her in August 2008 with 14,000 miles on the clock she has been my daily driver to work every day and has never let me down. She is now on 105440 miles and is up for sale as I have finally gone over to the dark side and bought a brand new hydrid family SUV.
She has dark grey bodywork and tan leather interior and originally had a tan sail top convertible but I changed her to a more practical black one approximately 5 years back. The heated rear window element doesn't work as have also since had to replace the window (luckily I had kept the old one).
She has had a new stainless steel bonnet fitted after the dreaded bubble corrosion on the original layered version. Had it resprayed once but then decided to just bite the bullet and replace.
She has the optional Pony Pack which has the extra front fog lights and a slightly better handing package.
In the interests of honesty, I would describe her as being in good but not perfect condition. She is after all nearly 20 years old and like any old lady has a few creaks and groans but she has been pretty well looked after as a daily driver. She is no show pony that is keep garaged and never driven but as i say is in pretty decent condition. She turns heads wherever I drive her and always gets plenty of positive comments due to her roof/car colour combination and fact that she is LHD.
FSH and for the last few years has been serviced by Mick Scott at Mustang custom services in Leyland. You can search his profile on facebook and he is a vey trusted Mustang specialist in the North West. He will remember me and know the car well if contacted.
The bodywork is in good condition apart from two belmishes, someone keyed my passenger door and she has a scuff on the rear wheel arch on the same side, where someone caught me in the supermarket and decided to drive off. Have costed repair for both, approx 400.
Condenser on A/C system needs replacing as not working. Have Have had the system recharged twice but have discovered this is the problem. Approx 260 to replace.
Wheels have had original tyre pressure sensors removed as have had them powder coated in grey to prevent any scratching and damage.
Original Shaker stereo removed to allow iPod connectivity, DAB and syncing with iPhone.
