I am selling my beloved BMW 430d which I have owned for over 5 years. I have to say it was a pleasure to own and drive. In my slightly biased opinion, this is one of the best cars on the road for sheer driving experience, coupled with power and fuel efficiency, all in one. This car can be driven fast without issues, but it can also be driven very economically, which I did most of the time. The three litre engine creates a smooth and relaxing drive, but gives you the power when you need it to overtake something smoothly and quickly. Our motorway run, this car can achieve over 70mpg. Which is incredible for a car that weighs 1.8 tons. The car is in great condition for its age and drives absolutely beautifully. The power is great when needed and the car drives smoothly. The gearbox is unbelievably smooth, as I have had it tuned so that it changes more smoothly. It is recently had a full service including brake fluid. Also it has brand new front suspension (electronic) so drives like new. I have put partial service history due to losing some of the documents in a divorce and house move. But I can guarantee this has been serviced most years of my ownership with the shop I bought it from. And then from a garage local to my house, most recently. I have the receipts for the recent service.And I will look for the receipts for the past services. There are a few small issues which I would like to make you aware of so that I am completely transparent. First, there is a very small dent in the passenger side rear door caused by a silly accident on my own, where I left the door open and it swang into an iron gate. Second, there is a little damage to the rear bumper of the car. When I slowly reversed into a lamppost, many years ago. The damage is hardly noticeable without close inspection, so I did not do anything with it. Mechanically this car is exceptional. The three litre motor performs perfectly, and as I said before, the gearbox is sensational. Starts first time every time all year round and has never let me down in all the years, either owned it. I no longer need a car to get to work and being divorced, do not need a family car any more. So I am only selling because I have bought a camper van to use instead. Test drives are welcome on the basis that you have the money to pay for the car available to show. The car is located in Thornbury, Bristol and, the mileage may go slightly up, as I will still use it occasionally before it sells.
