I am the car's second owner, having purchased it from a local owner who had it maintained by Volkswagen main dealers. Since then, it has continued to be properly looked after, with servicing carried out by a combination of Volkswagen and reputable independent garages. The car remains in very good overall condition for its age and mileage. It drives exactly as it should and has been a reliable and enjoyable car to own. The interior is clean and tidy, with the iconic GTI tartan cloth sports seats showing minimal wear. Genuine Volkswagen rubber floor mats are fitted. The car also benefits from the Winter Pack, including heated front seats, a heated front windscreen and heated, electrically adjustable door mirrors. The car comes with one key. Cosmetically, it presents very well, although there are a few age-related marks.
