Description
2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Hawkeye JDM, EJ207 twin-scroll, 6-speed manual, DCCD and widetrack. Imported May 2025 by Iconic Motors, Dronfield. I'm the first UK owner and have covered around 8,000 miles since import / ownership.
117,405 km / approx. 73,000 miles. Original km speedometer retained.
Mechanically it is completely standard. Grade 3B import with original Japanese auction sheet, full Japanese service history, import paperwork and UK maintenance invoices.
Recently had a full major service at Sheffield Subaru Specialist including engine, gearbox oil and diff oils. Also has new Godspeed discs/pads all round, new radiator fitted by Scooby Clinic and they also stripped cleaned and rebuilt the brembos, new starter motor and comes with Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres all round with decent tread.
Always run on 99 RON. DCCD works correctly, no warning lights, no known oil leaks and starts perfectly hot/cold.
Both Scooby Clinic and Sheffield Subaru Specialist have commented on how clean/rust free it is underneath. Underside remains original and has never been undersealed/rust proofed. Engine bay is also very clean.
Interior is in good condition with no significant wear. Age related marks on the plastics but otherwise good. Original spare wheel, jack and tools included. ATOTO Android double DIN head unit plus digital speed display for UK use. Original cluster remains in KM. One key.
Bodywork is good for age but not perfect: general scratches/marks, rear arch scrape, front bumper stone chips, cracked grille surround and paint flaking around bonnet scoop/vent. Has a few touch up paint blobs. Both front wheels have slight kerbing as per pics, passenger rear has a small scuff, driver rear is good. Lighter body marks should improve with a machine polish.
A/C currently not working, it worked previously but stopped after winter. May need a regas but not diagnosed.
Rear suspension has a knock/clunk. Common on this generation, doesn't affect the drivability or handling, probably more of an annoyance at low speeds than anything.
Selling because needed something more practical for daily / family driving. I love the Subaru but can't justify keeping it purely as a weekend car. No rush to sell though.
