BMW M4 CS – 49,113 miles This is the F82 M4 CS in the combination we would want. San Marino Blue, M Carbon Ceramic Brakes and 49,113 miles, backed by BMW main dealer history from new. It is a particularly good specification, but more importantly, this is an example that has clearly been looked after. We know these cars well, and there is one small detail we always look at immediately on an M4 CS. The Competition seats commonly develop stitching issues where the bolster meets the seat back as they age. This one has none of it. The seats remain properly intact, which is a surprisingly good early indicator of how the car has been treated. The San Marino Blue is, in our opinion, the colour that suits the F82 best. It has the depth and intensity you want on an M car without needing anything else to make it stand out. Then there are the brakes. M Carbon Ceramic Brakes all round are a serious option and one of the biggest reasons this particular CS is desirable. Phenomenal stopping power, incredibly consistent and with virtually no brake dust compared with conventional brakes. It sits on Continental SportContact 7 tyres all round, with the fronts replaced this year, and the overall condition of the car is exceptionally reassuring. The history is exactly what we want to see. BMW main dealer maintained throughout its life, with the most recent service carried out only a couple of months ago including new spark plugs. We have since completed our own initial two-hour inspection, brake fluid and wipers, and it has passed with flying colours. The specification also includes Head-Up Display, reversing camera, adaptive LED headlights, high-beam assistant, speed limit display, sun protection glazing and BMW M Performance Alcantara steering wheel. And then there is the CS itself. At this price point, it is very difficult to think of many cars that combine the aggression, usability and outright ability quite as well. It feels sharper than a standard M4 without becoming difficult to enjoy on the road.
