Description
Completely original example of the rare XKR-S. There were ever only 200 of these made worldwide of which a mere 50 were RHD for the UK market.
I bought the car some 18 months ago from a good friend who owned the car for 14 years before me. It has been looked after meticulously by the same specialist garage for all those years and presents and drives immaculately.
This modern classic is nothing short of perfect and, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful cars ever made.
My wife and I moved to Portugal at the end of last year and now visit the UK only occasionally. However much I'll hate to see this car go, it deserves a lot more than being driven a handful of miles every other month.
It is finished in the exclusive Ultimate Black metallic paintwork over a full soft grain black leather interior, piano black veneer trim, and a charcoal Alston luxury headliner. The car, as it should, sits on stunning 20-inch lightweight 'Vortex' alloy wheels and comes with 2 keys.
When introduced, the XKR-S was upgraded from the standard XKR to include a revised suspension system with bespoke springs, dampers and anti-roll bars, recalibrated CATS (Computer Active Technology Suspension), an Alcon R Performance braking system with 400mm front discs, 350mm rear discs and red monobloc six-piston front callipers, a front air splitter, side sill extensions, a rear spoiler, and a rear bumper with an integrated diffuser panel.
The car comes with a full service history and with 3 former keepers. It was last serviced and had its last MOT on October 13th last year at 69,212 miles. Having moved abroad shortly thereafter I have only done 300 miles since!!
