The GranTurismo is one of those cars that manages to be both spectacular and usable. It has the presence, sound and occasion of an exotic Italian GT, and four proper seats. The 4.7-litre naturally aspirated V8 is the star of the show. No turbochargers, no artificial soundtrack just that unmistakable Maserati Ferrari derived V8 - one of the best exhaust notes you will hear. This model was featured in the book 'Playground Money' by Andy Bishop for it's quiet, self confident power. The MC-Shift gearbox gives the car a the ability to absolutely motor when you want to and it remains perfectly capable of relaxed cruising. The feedback from driving the Gran Turismo is fantastic, you feel a part of the car as it reads the road. Visually, I think the Gran Turismo looks stunning a head-turner without being ostentatious or demanding attention. The deep blue paint works beautifully with the silver 20" wheels, red brake calipers and distinctive Maserati detailing, it looks like a luxury Italian GT thanks to Pinafarina's design and styling. If you're looking for a GranTurismo that still gives you that old-school naturally aspirated V8 experience, this deserves to be seen and heard.
