Genuinely going to be sad to see this one go. Only selling as getting a V10. It's an absolutely incredible car and probably one of the best all-rounders I've owned. It has the looks and performance of a proper sports car but is still comfortable and easy enough to use every day. It's the 4.0-litre V8 SL55 AMG with four-wheel drive, currently sitting at just 14,600 miles with full service history. It's in excellent condition throughout with brilliant bodywork and a really well looked-after interior. For anyone who actually loves driving, this thing is SO much fun. You've got Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Individual and Slippery/Ice settings, as well as launch control when you want to properly experience what the V8 can do. Hit the exhaust button and it sounds absolutely incredible. It has that proper deep AMG V8 sound that you just don't get from smaller engines. Despite the performance, the four-wheel-drive system makes it feel incredibly planted. It absolutely sticks to the road and gives you loads of confidence in wet or colder weather too, so it really is a car you can enjoy all year round rather than something that needs putting away for half of it. Inside it's every bit as good. Massage seats, heated and cooled seats, sat nav, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus loads of driver assistance and safety features. It can be a comfortable long-distance cruiser one minute then completely change character when you put it into Sport+. It's also one of those cars that gets attention everywhere. I'm forever having people compliment it, ask what it is or stop to have a look.
