Description
This little car is the most fun way to get around by far. Because it is fully electric, it is incredibly cheap to run and the throttle is so responsive, it's perfect for nipping around town with the roof up or down or only half way up.
It has a third party infotainment system installed which connects via Bluetooth to android and iOS smart phones and has AndroidAuto as well as Apple CarPlay so navigation, audio and hands free communication options are better than the original car.
Because it is so short, you can park 90 degrees to other cars at the side of the street so it is super easy to find parking and because it's so narrow, it's a doddle to nip through traffic.
As for efficiency, it can do about 4.7 miles per kWh so if you can charge at home overnight at 6.9p per kWh then it'll cost you less than 1.5p per mile!
It has a 17kWh battery so not for good for long journeys especially as it has no DC charging so it takes between 3.4 and 7 hours to fully charge depending on the charger. The max power it will take is 5kW. If you are driving at city speeds, you can easily get more than 90 miles range but as soon as you start driving at faster motorway speeds, the range comes down to more like 65-70 miles.
There are some cosmetic damage to the paint work and the alloy wheels but not more than you would expect from a 13 year old car. Generally, it looks pretty smart (pun intended) and it gets looks from passers by particularly with the roof down although the roof itself could do with a deep clean and there are some rust spots on the removable roof side bars.
The car comes with both a type 2 charging cable and a cable with a standard mains 3 pin plug so you can charge it without needing a charger installed.
As it is electric it is ULEZ compliant.
