996.1 Tiptronic Cabriolet up for sale (genuine reason). Its a genuine 48,000 mile car from new, but with a full engine rebuild 9,000 miles ago by MLR Independent Porsche Specialist. When I say full, I mean, no expense spared rebuild to 3.7 litre (317hp / 300 ftlb). The bodywork is original and excellent both outside an underneath with no corrosion (photos available). New brakes and all brake pipes, radiators, header tank and a/c evaporators, stainless steel manifolds with new lambda sensors. All this was done at the engine rebuild phase. A new hood with glass window was fitted last year. Paddle shift conversion, apple /android car play and reverse camera and new tyres. I purchased the car with a blown engine and completed a complete overhaul of the car at the same time. In the past 2 years since it was completed we have toured in the UK, Ireland and a road trip to Italy , the car has performed faultlessly throughout. All of the normal worries around these cars have already been addressed. The only reason for the sale is an opportunity to buy a Turbo cab.
