I have owned this car since new and it has had full VW main dealer servicing. It has had a recent four wheel alignment, new front disc and pads, air conditioning service, and brake fluid change at 74,000 miles, new water pump at 69,000 miles, and new clutch at 43,000 miles. All four tyres are GoodYear Efficient Grip. I have a set of extra winter tyres (very little wear) on additional steel wheels and also snow chains. The alloy wheels have been removed and stored over the winter driving. It drives very well, corners well, and is quick. For the age of the car the bodywork and interior is very clean. Just a few stone chips on bonnet and the odd mark from people opening their car doors into it. There has never been any smoking or pets in the car. The rear seats are split folding with the handy load through hatch. It has a very low VED and with great mpg it is a great car for a long daily commute.
