1997Jeep TJ 4.0 Auto 11 months MOT I purchased myJeep over a year ago for a planned driving holiday through Southern Europe this summer but, due to a change in circumstances, sadly we are unable to go on the trip. Someone will be fortunate enough to get an amazing looking and performing Jeep TJ in excellent condition. Placed in storage for many years before my ownership, it has been extensively recommissioned with many new parts to make it a dependable on and off road adventure vehicle. Far too much work completed to fully list hete but I have the receipts and happy to discuss. Comes fitted with the excellent, high quality Rubicon Express 3.5 inch lift kit. Professionally installed by F.T.E Off Road. Along with the Jeep being repainted, this lift kit was fitted brand new along with the winch. The jeep was then placed into storage until a future time when the previous owner planned to complete the build. The upgraded suspension, joints and bushings are therefore as new. Currently at 129700 miles I've driven around 200 miles or so while testing the work done for recommissioning, the jeep is running beautifully with no issues. Also fitted with a SYE (Slip Yoke Eliminator) fitted to the Transfer case and a new Tom Woods double Cardan jointed drive shaft from the US. This stops the vibration that many lifted Jeeps can suffer from. Also fitted by F.T.E. are the high quality custom side protection rock sliders. Engine has been thoroughly inspected, with good compression on all cylinders. Rockers and pushrods have been inspected. Gearbox serviced and flushed with new filter and fluid. The braking system has been refurbished with new Front calipers and pads Master cylinder rebuilt New rear slave cylinders Rear drum brakes refurbished with all new components. New brake shoes New rear axle brake line. Fuel system and Fuel tank flushed. New sender unit and filter. All fluids flushed and replaced Coolant and new thermostat.
