Description
Sold in 'near mint' condition after an unfortunate change in personal circumstances.
I bought the XJS in late 2025, in good condition, with a comprehensive service history, which included a recent [2021/22] programme of works at the JLR Classic Works facility in Coventry. All documented.
I then commissioned a complete "strip back to bare metal" survey and remedial works by a specialist classic car restorer. This included 'proper' rust repairs [i.e. rusted areas cut out and new patches fully welded], hot wax injection to all chassis cavities, all chrome refurbished, exhaust system fully dismantled and tested and resealed, removal and readjustment of headlights, a complete new set of tires - and a whole lot more besides...
Since these extensive works, the car has been housed in a professional storage facility in Poole [climate controlled, weekly/monthly maintenance etc...] Plus she comes with a bespoke set of covers - and, even, her own Carcoon...!
However the Gods have not been kind, and I can now not use the car.
I am not desperate to sell the car, nor am I motivated by a 'deal'. Bottom line: the car is now a dead asset for me, and she deserves a better future than I can now offer her.
Offers at a sensible financial amount will be considered, particularly if there is a credible plan for the car to be used in future. However the car is in professional classic car storage in Poole, so enquiries must be truly credible - as arranging a viewing is not a trivial thing.
