Description
2010 Audi TT 2.0 TFSI Manual - 169k miles - MOT July 2027 - sensible offers.
Selling my Audi TT after 12 years of ownership. It's been a brilliant car and I'd much rather see someone repair it and keep it going than simply scrap it.
The good bits:
- 2.0 TFSI petrol, 6-speed manual
- Just under 169000 miles
- electric windows/heated mirrors working
- rear window small peeling of black out with defrost working
- 2 Keys
- Scuba Blue
- MOT carried out June 2026 with:
New rear tyres fitted in June barely worn
New ignition coils & sparks
Two new rear brake discs & pads
- Half leather interior
- Alloy wheels
- Interior - ok condition
- 6 Disc CD player
- Audio jack in central back console
- Air Conditioning
- Owned by me for the last 12 years brought from private sale.
Mechanical condition - please read:
The car has been professionally diagnosed with a timing/cam correlation fault, with the timing reported as being out and a likely timing-chain related issue. I have the diagnostic information available for anyone interested.
The car does not start, will require recovery. The battery engages and the electrics come on, but the engine will not crank.
It is therefore being sold as a non-runner and can't be driven away.
It was last fully serviced in 2019. The price reflects the mileage, condition and mechanical work required, also recent new parts.
Cosmetically:
The bonnet paint is peeling and there are the usual marks you'd expect from a 16-year-old, 169k-mile car. There is some damage to the lower front sports trim and a dent in the passenger-side door; both done at slow speed pea gravel skid and a pressured dent from a hidden chain & pad lock. Interior dash in nice condition, seats ok with signs of wear as you'd expect.
She isn't immaculate. She's a 16-year-old TT with 169,000 miles, a few battle scars, lots of recent parts and a mechanical problem that I cant afford to sort.
Worth time for someone who might be able to repair.
Please come knowing what you're looking at taking on. I'm happy to be completely upfront about the fault (have codes) and condition. I'd just like her to go to somebody who knows what they're taking on and might give her another chance.
