Description
First registered in October 2007. I bought the car in 2010 as the second owner from a VW dealership in Bristol, where it was sold as an Approved Used car.
It has stayed in the family ever since. In 2013 I gave it to my sister as I no longer needed a car, and she used it until 2022 when she moved out of London and transferred it back to me.
Throughout that time it has only been used occasionally rather than for daily commuting - mainly for trips and the odd journey around town - which explains the relatively low mileage for its age. It has always been treated well and has been a very reliable car for us.
I've added an AUX cable to the original radio, so you can plug in a phone and play music through the car's sound system.
As is very common on Golfs of this age, the roof lining started to sag. Rather than replacing the whole headlining, I stapled it back into place and covered the staples with suede tape. It's not an invisible repair and you can clearly see it in the photos, but I did it around three years ago and it has held up well since.
Selling simply because I've bought another (even older!) car, so sadly it's time for the Golf to find a new home.
