A rare opportunity to acquire what is believed to be the only UK-registered CLS55 AMG finished in Designo Mystic Blue with Designo Porcelain Nappa leather. Featured in Autocar magazine (February 2011), with the original magazine included in the sale. Documentation accompanying the car suggests the original owner commissioned both the Designo paint and interior at considerable expense. Full service history with Mercedes-Benz main dealer servicing to 53,000 miles, followed by respected Mercedes and German vehicle specialists. Since my 2021 ownership the car has been serviced annually regardless of mileage, with the most recent full service completed in August 2026 at 85,273 miles. Notable maintenance includes gearbox service at 80,700 miles by MB Automotive, genuine Mercedes Airmatic compressor replacement, air conditioning condenser replacement, new battery in March 2026, a genuine Mercedes windscreen specially sourced from Germany to retain original specification, and recent OEM Pagid front discs and pads. Recent Mercedes STAR diagnostic check with no fault codes recorded. Knowing the W219's reputation for rear arch corrosion, both arches were stripped, inspected and treated as a preventative measure in 2021. No corrosion was found and the arches were subsequently sealed with an acrylic protective coating and coats of enamel paint. The car remains corrosion-free and has always been winter stored during my ownership, with previous owner records also indicating little to no winter use. Specification includes Keyless Go, electric sunroof, heated seats, folding mirrors, cornering Bi-Xenon headlights, climate control, front /rear parking sensors, Linguatronic and Digital TV. Enhancements include genuine AMG 19" Styling VI split-rim wheels, an upgraded Bosch intercooler pump, Bluetooth audio streaming. Reg not included. Substantial history file including invoices, Mercedes Club documentation, original literature and previous owner records. Whilst there is limited records to verify the car as a one-off example, years of research through Mercedes forums, owners' clubs and historic sales records have failed to uncover another UK CLS55 specified in this colour combination. Mystic Blue is not available as a CLS colour within the original UK sales literature supplied with the car. Finding a CLS55 AMG is relatively easy. Finding one with this specification, provenance and condition is considerably harder.
