1997 Mazda MX-5 Mk1 (NA) 1.8L Manual British Racing Green Key Details: -Mileage: 97,800 genuine miles -MOT: Fresh 12-Month MOT (No advisories; previous tyre advisory resolved) -History & Keys: Full Service History, 2 original keys, aftermarket immobiliser -Ownership: 4 owners from new -Tyres: 4 brand-new Goodyear EfficientGrip tyres fitted -Rust/Structure: Major sill & arch repairs completed in 2024. Clean, solid underside (recently cleaned and protected) Included Extras: Factory-matching British Racing Green hardtop Custom green & black leather sports seats with matching door card inserts Indoor dust cover & outdoor fitted cover included Original carpet mats & heavy-duty rubber protective mats Upgraded JVC head unit (with AUX/USB) & upgraded door speakers Overview & Condition: This car has been my cherished summer pride and joy for the past 4 years. Dry-stored indoors every winter under my ownership (October to April) and garage-kept by its previous long-term owner. It is a clean, honest example of a late-model UK 1.8L Mk1. The British Racing Green paintwork presents fantastically with great depth, gloss, and no clearcoat peel. There are only two minor cosmetic flaws on the bodywork: a small touched-up stone chip on the bonnet and a slight graze on the offside rear wing. I chose to leave these minor imperfections untouched to preserve the original factory paintwork. Mechanically, the car drives tightly with zero issues everything works exactly as it should. The manual soft-top roof is fully watertight and in great condition, though the car has primarily been used with either the matching hardtop fitted or open-air during fair weather. Reason for Sale: A genuine, reluctant sale due to the arrival of a newborn. As a family of three, we are looking to transition to a 4-seater classic, so the MX-5 must now find a new home. I would love to see it go to an enthusiast who will keep it dry-stored and enjoy it as a weekend toy.
