Description
Regrettably selling my QS 240 due to the old chestnut 'a change in circumstances'.
I have owned this car since November last year and have spent more hours than I can count improving various aspects. I would describe the condition as very good for the age/mileage, generally standard with some tasteful upgrades to inferior or worn original parts.
Work prior to my ownership:
-Full service history, including brake fluid, cambelt and waterpump.
-Brembo discs and pads all round (Drilled & Grooved)
-New rear brake calipers
-Clutch and flywheel
-Front/Rear springs and dampers overhaul (mostly genuine parts)
-Several Haldex oil/filter services
-Forge silicone intake and intercooler pipes
-N249 Delete
-MOT's, purchase and misc servicing receipts
Work completed since November 25:
-Cambelt & waterpump kit (Genuine Kit)
-High-pressure power steering hose (Febi Bilstein)
-MAF (Bosch)
-Oil & Filter, fuel and pollen filters (Genuine/Mobil)
-Rear brake lines (Feb Bilstein)
-Brake fluid change and correctly pressure bled (Genuine)
-Front Lower Suspension Arms (Febi Bilstein)
-Master cylinder brake pressure sensor (Genuine)
-Battery (Bosch S4)
-Front subframe polybushes (Powerflex)
-Rear suspension overhaul (CB auto spherical joints, Powerflex trailing arm bushes)
-Mike Upton Adjustable rear lower arms
-Rear hubs & wheel bearings (Febi Bilstein)
-Rear ABS sensors (Bosch)
-4 Wheel alignment
Other considerations:
-4 great condition Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 (245/40/18)
-K&N Panel Filter
-Breather hose repair
-Cruise control stalk (Febi Bilstein) and loom from VW Direct (OEM) fitted to the car but not yet wired in.
-Spares: Brand new Genuine N75 valve (not fitted as not identified as a fault, however very short supply so great to have in stock) and another genuine brake pressure senor, Febi Bilstein lower front ball joints, genuine lower dipstick tube, Diesel Geek gear selector bush kit
The bodywork is in overall good condition, however there are some marks on the front/rear bumpers, door edges and minor stone chips. In terms of rust, the underside, sills and arches are in much better condition than many others, owing to being garaged for much of its life. There is one small bubble on the drivers door, which I believe can be addressed locally.
The interior has the usual marks to the boot floor and seats as expected for the age, although there is no significant damage, and the Alcantara is in great shape.
Any questions please give me a call!
