Description
I have owned this car for coming up to 2 years, and enjoyed every minute, having been one of those cars I've always wanted to own, but sadly it's time to move on.
I searched long and hard for the right car and spec, I didn't want privacy glass, sat nav or piano black trim, and I think this is the best colour combination of Sapphire Black over Imola Red leather.
I have taken care of the car and kept maintenance up, it's had new rear tyres, brake caliper and always had any MOT advisories sorted, I had some paint work done just to keep on top of the condition and to not let it get scruffy. I replaced the front and rear badges as they were looking scruffy, genuine BMW items.
The car is garaged over night and soft covered.
Wheels show no signs of kerbing
I have covered around four thousand miles in my ownership, the car has never let me down it drives straight and sounds great.
It is pretty much OEM with the exception of the kidney grilles which I swapped out for all black (I still have the originals) different Mat set (I have the old mats) and a blue tooth hands free set up for phone and music.
For a 20 year old car it's held up really well, there are some minor blemishes here and there but nothing you can see from a couple of metres away, all pretty much age related.
It's booked in for the next service which is an oil inspection service early September with Reddish motorsport, but mileage wise it's way off needing a service.
It doesn't use any oil, I always let the car warm up before a spirted drive, and I certainly don't push the car too hard, the car sounds great and throaty and has a lovely slick gear change.
No signs of any odd noises related to Vanos or Conrod bearing issues.
Overall it is a straight and honest car, which will no doubt become a future classic.
There is full service history some BMW some specialist.
I would confident it would pass an MOT and if a buyer needed this I would be happy to put it through one early.
I am not in any rush to sell and won't take low ball offers.
