Description

I've owned the car for just under a year it's my 3rd Z4. I bought it from the Z Shed which is local to me and well known for being a specialist Z4 garage. I wasn't actively looking for another Z at the time but when I saw the extent of the work that the car has had done I decided to view it. The garage put it on their ramps and showed me all the new parts and gave me chance to get a good look for leaks etc. I drove the car and everything was/is tight, no rattles or knocks. I was assured the car had no issues and it has proved to be the case. I've used the car to commute some days and had great weekends away walking in it. It has electric heated memory seats, it has a great heater and cold a/c. It has the sport button a working 6 cd changer and electric windows. It's had the air intake mod done so it does howl once the revs get high enough. There is no history before the Z Sheds work was carried out but I took the car on face value and I've recently changed the oil and filter. There are no chain rattles or smoke the engine is smooth and responsive, no known leaks in or out. Boot dry, recent battery, motor relocated and refurbished. The tyres are all premium with good tread. The car has 2 working keys and roof opens from the key. The only issues I've encountered are a tyre monitor warning occasionally pops up and the headlights mist up in rainy drives. I avoid wet weather so have taken the backs of the headlights to stop any condensation build up. I've had a quote for 150 to refurb and reseal the lights which I intended to get done over winter but they have been fine since spring as they are. The body work is in my opinion good for its age please see the pictures, there are age related marks but nothing terrible. The wheels have lacquer peel which again was on the to do list but I have bought another newer convertible and just don't see me getting much use out of it this year and have decided to let it move on. I can store it and sorn it if I don't get what I want I'm in no rush or need to sell. Happy to talk about it and take anyone for a spirited drive but please don't expect to haggle I'm just not interested. It's a good 3.0 manual that's had all the jobs done.
