Low mileage MOT Dec 2026 Recently had new thermostat & water pump Probably needs repair/new starter motor laquer on some of the paintwork is missing Full mechanics report below - Ideal project car or 1st car if you can do the work yourself. Low Insurance group and low tax. - visually inspected the front brake disks and pads. Dics scored and some surface rust, but not seriously lipped - all brake pads with more than 50% life. Brake Calipers slides free both sides. Pads wear evenly. - front anti-roll bar links boot perished and split, but no noticable play in the joint(MOT FAIL) - severe oil leak comming from the front of the engine - gearbox covered in oil. Suspected input shaft seal leak - clutch pedal is high ( Assumming clutch is around 75% worn ) - starter fails to enguage when engine is hot. Expected to fail soon. - engine oil clean ( does not mix with coolant ) - engine headgasket test carried out - result is positive. Suspected cracked cylinder head, hense the engine burns out coolant and then overheats. - test drove the car. No noticable knocks from suspension. Brakes work well.
