2006 Volkswagen Polo 1.4 - 3 Door - Spares or Repair / MOT Failure 2006 VW Polo 1.4, 3 door, in blue. A great little car that has served us well and would make a good learner/first car once the required work has been completed. The car recently failed its MOT and is being sold as spares or repair, as we have decided to replace it rather than carry out the repairs. It starts and runs, but will need work before it can pass an MOT and be used on the road. The MOT identified work including the rear brakes/brake cylinder, CV boot, anti-roll bar linkage, headlights/indicators and parking brake. There are also age-related advisories. The full MOT history and list of defects is available online and I'm happy to provide the recent MOT report. For a 2006 car, it is in reasonable cosmetic condition. There are some bumps, scratches and marks from its age and use, including scuffing to the wheels/bodywork and damage to one wing-mirror indicator, as shown in the photos. A straightforward, practical little Polo which could suit someone able to carry out the work themselves, or as a project/learner car once repaired.
