1998 Lotus Elise S1 with Turbo Technics supercharger to make it 190bhp. Metallic Grey/Silver with red/black interior and red roof. 51,400 miles but still in use. I have had three Lotus Elise S1 models and this is by far the most fun as it has had a lot of great upgrades but not been a track warrior (no 4 point harness here!) or been compromised in what the car should be. It has obviously been very well looked after over the years and it has had a huge overhaul in July 2026. Previous work/upgrades: Engine: Obviously the key upgrade is the Turbo Technics supercharger, this was a popular upgrade at the time and is still available (Huge cost!). All other upgrades are to manage the extra power/speed. Suspension: lowered and upgraded including rose joints Wheels: lighter upgraded wheels with Khumo Proxes 45 profile tyres Brakes: Upgraded discs and pads all around Small stuff: protective cover for front fog lights as these often get damaged by stones, same for front grill. 111S rear wing fitted along with headlight covers Recent work: New battery fitted in May 2026 Big service in July including all fluids flushed and replaced, new plugs, new belts, etc. Further work in July was a new water pump, new alternator and the big one, new head gasket! Plus a full top to bottom and front to back check over by Lotus specialist Max 500 in Guildford. Total spent in 2026: £5,500+ This leaves the car in great shape for the next owner. I am after a S2 111R or Aston Martin V8 vantage for a change!
