This is a Mark 2.5 Mazda MX-5, the 'Icon' limited edition model, first registered in July 2005. It has been lovingly cared for all its 21 year life but also used, and thus it's mileage of 5k a year, total 105k. It is in a nice condition but there is a little rust bubbling through on the rear offside wing which certainly needs attention before the next MOT. The automatic car aerial has been faulty for a while, but we had fitted a glass-fronted double-height Bluetooth stereo about 5 years ago. It has recently had a new battery and a new alternator and fan belt, and needed new front brake pads to get through the MOT this month. The soft-top is black, original and watertight, and the fantastically usefull hard-top with a heated rear-screen is a real bonus in the winter. I would suggest it would suit someone who knows a bit about cars, or is willing to learn! It is currently SORNED and at our address in Henfield West Sussex. It drives well, and can be driven away, but you will need to tax and insure it first. We have owned it for 8 years , and we bought it from a lady in the Midlands who had also owned it for 8 years, having bought it 2010 from Colliers, Birmingham. Before that we dont know. We don't really want to get rid of it, but it is now taking up a precious parking space! And so we are only going to sell our MX-5 to someone who will give it a good home and continue to cherish it!!
