Once again I have let my modest collection of British modern classics outgrow my storage space and I have made the decision to offer this lovely, low mileage, early T-reg Jaguar S-Type to a new owner. This car has extensive history including correspondence between the first owner and the supplying dealer, HA Fox of Southampton, as well as it's original vehicle invoice. The car presents extremely well, notiblty from underneath where years of dry storage have protected the car. Being the powerful and smooth 3.0 V6 petrol, this car is extremely nice to drive, but can easily keep up with (and overtake) modern traffic. It is the high-specification SE, with electric seats, electric steering column, cruise control, electric sunroof, and air conditioning, all of which work perfectly. I have just taken the car on a 1,600 mile road trip to France where it performed fantastically, particularly the air conditioning. It was a real pleasure to drive th Jag on such a journey and makes it a little harder to let go of. This trip also means I am confident in the reliability of the car. Prior to my trip, I had a pre-MOT test carried out, reminded any work recommended (invoices to prove to be found in extensive history file) before having a conventional MOT test done, and it is thus sold with 12-months of MOT. I also had 4 brand new tyres fitted to the car less than 2,000 miles ago. It has some minor cosmetic imperfections, two small ink stains on the rear seats, as well as a couple of minor marks and a handful of subtle, small dents, though this does not detract from the immaculate presentation of the car. There is a squeek from the rear suspension, heard only at low speeds over speed bumps, however the car drives exactly as it should and this in no what effects the brilliant trade-mark Jaguar ride quality.
