Mercedes Benz 190E 2.0 Petrol Automatic. Just 93,000 miles with fantastic service history. This car has 24 service stamps from new and was stored for 10 years undercover and then recommissioned at great cost. It was given an extensive overhaul with new ignition parts, fuel tank and service items, it has also had a complete exhaust system including catalytic converter. Included is further bills for works carried out over the last few years. This is a very rare, rust free example and needs to be seen to be appreciated. The paintwork is in excellent condition, with one blemish on the boot lid which could possibly be rubbed down to improve appearance. The tyres have around 6mm remaining and are in great condition but personally, I feel the ride could be softened with a new set. The interior is in excellent condition, the wood trim is perfect, the dash has no cracks in it, it still has it's original factory stereo and complete first aid kit. This model was fitted with optional electric windows, roof , headrests and centre arm rest. Bodywork is pale blue with the darker blue lower section and comes with steel wheels, excellent hubcaps and headlamp wipers. I bought the car recently after seeing it at a classic car show, and honestly, it stopped me in my tracks, the condition is superb and really does need to be seen, however, after using it daily since purchase, and I love it, I cannot store it under cover and it deserves to be owned by someone that can look after it properly. I have 3 other Mercedes, 2 motorbikes and an ongoing project that takes up all my spare time. There are areas for improvement as one would expect of a 34 year old vehicle, but these are minor and I'm happy to discuss this. I recently had it checked over by a retired MB technician and he said it was the cleanest, rust free example he'd ever seen ! I cannot overstate how good this car is, it is a solid, rust free example. I believe it's already good enough to show and with some minor work, would be a show winner, or of course, do as I have done and use it as a daily that looks cool and turns heads.
