The Cayman Introduced In 2006 wasn't just a light cluster tweak etc. of an existing model It was a fresh concept so pretty much they knew exactly what they were creating after years of expertise. Therefore bringing into the market a very well designed coupe! so much so it begs the question is it worth paying all that extra for a 911 when the Cayman out handles a 911 (better weight distribution) and not much in it on speed (dampened by Porsche themselves to try and keep some kind of level between the two!) In fact the Cayman Is considered one of the best track cars on the market, thanks to its mid-engine, Its center of gravity is lower and close to the centre of the car than the rear engine 911. This one we have hear is the 2.7 and arguably the best all rounder and less prone to ailments. Probably the most steadfast engine that they've kept In their armoury for logical reasons and tweaked over the years for better performance , emissions and fuel economy. Also being a manual, aswell as being better on fuel, appeals to the 'drivers' out there who like to feel that 'they' have the reins in their hands, and feel totally in control. The one we have here is a very tidy example that looks cool and crisp in Glacier white gloss that came to us privately (not auction car) from its one and only driver for the last 11 years and only averaged 5k miles per year.
