Description
I've owned this Alto for 6.5 years and it's been a dependable, very low-cost little car. I'm only selling because I wanted something bigger with a bit more power for motorway driving.
It's economical to run, with just **20 a year road tax**, low insurance costs, excellent fuel economy and inexpensive parts. It has air conditioning (which blows nice and cold), a CD player and FM radio.
During my ownership I've replaced the alternator, battery, front brake discs and brake pads. It was serviced in 2025, and before that I carried out regular oil changes myself. I only cover around 3,000 miles a year.
The latest MOT advisories were:
* Rear suspension arms and rear brake pipes slightly corroded.
* Rear tyres low on tread.
The only quirks are that it comes with one non-remote key, and the passenger door doesn't lock or unlock with the central locking, so it has to be locked manually.
Overall, it's been a dependable car that's cheap to own and would make an ideal first car, commuter or economical runaround.
