2016 Renault Kadjar 1.5 dCi - Priced to Reflect Known Issues
Selling my 2016 Renault Kadjar 1.5 dCi.
It's been a good family car and drives well, but I'm selling it cheaper than comparable examples because there are a few things that need attention. I want to be completely upfront about them so anyone interested knows exactly what they're buying.
MOT to December. Serviced this year. Part service history as we missed one or two during covid. Can send on pictures of all receipts etc. on request
Anti-pollution warning:
The anti-pollution/emissions warning is currently off, but it has been coming back on after roughly 90 miles or so of driving. It then clears again. I've previously had the EGR cleaned, hoses replaced and glow plugs changed while investigating the issue.
It may benefit from a decent long run/DPF clean, but I can't guarantee that's the cause or the solution, so I'm selling it on the basis that the intermittent warning may require further investigation and repair.
Brakes:
The brake discs and pads are getting towards the point where they will need replacing.
Key:
Drivers door keyless entry doesnt work. Passenger side works fine.
Tyres:
The front tyres will also want replacing before winter.
Other than the above, the car is in good overall condition for its age and is still being used. You're welcome to inspect it, see it running and take it for a test drive.
Similar Kadjars without these issues seem to be around the £5,250 mark, so I've priced this one lower to reflect the work that may be required.
I'd rather be completely transparent about the faults and sell it at a fair price than hide anything from the next owner.
