Description

We have owned this fantastic car for around 8 years and it has never let us down. Extremely reliable with a 100% MOT pass rate and serviced at Honda pretty much every year since new (just a couple were missed out during covid when the car was not being used). Top of the range EX model with all the toys available at the time (sat-nav, leather, heated front seats, reversing camera, parking sensors, cruise control, voice commands, tinted rear windows, upgraded stereo, automatic headlights / wipers, power / folding mirrors). Colour is urban titanium metallic which looks great in the sunshine. Last serviced and MOT'd at Honda around 4000 miles ago (passed with zero advisories) when it also had new front brake discs and pads. Very well maintained with an excellent service history, complete with an extensive file of paperwork and receipts from new for all work carried out (including the original bill of sale), service book, owner's manual and both original keys. Last month also had the air-con re-gassed. We are the third owners (however the first two owners were the same person, just changed the car from privately owned to company owned) and we always look after our cars, getting any work done as needed and only running them on premium fuels and premium tyres (this has matching Dunlop tyres all round). Brilliant family car, reliable, comfortable, smooth with a big boot and the only reason we are selling is that my wife has recently taken driving lessons and feels the car is too big for her so we are looking to replace it with a smaller SUV. These CR-Vs have a strong reputation for reliability and being well-built which we can happily confirm. Only negatives with the car are a small crack and a couple of scrapes on the front bumper which have been there since we bought it and never bothered us as we didn't plan to sell the car, and also a dent in the lower rear bumper; again there since we bought the car and has never bothered us (see pictures for details). Since deciding to sell I did go to a local bodyshop and was quoted 375 to fix both so have priced the car accordingly. If I am being picky there is also a slight squeak on the brakes since the new discs and pads. Low mileage for year with less than 72,000 miles (may go up slightly as we may use the car occasionally until we can sell / find a replacement). Would consider a swap for a smaller SUV (must be a petrol or hybrid and an automatic) if someone is looking for a bigger car (with money either way).
