Challenger, with Jaguar's approval, constructed E types using a galvanized chassis with a dimensionally accurate GRP body. The car is completely Jaguar, with front and rear suspension, engine, gearbox and diff, coming from an XJ6. The Challenger provides the S1 OTS driving experience, with a very reasonable cost of ownership. Superior brakes, Suspension, Rust free body, and more relaxed motorway cruising. Considerable work has been undertaken on this car, for reliable European travel. Recently back from a very enjoyable trip to northern Spain and Portugal. Details:- The 4.2 litre engine has been reconditioned with 8.5K miles added. The reconditioned 4 speed gearbox + Over Drive, has been used for 4K miles. It has a new Hi Output Alternator, Hi Torque Starter motor, Electronic fuel pump, Electronic ignition. Recently serviced and MOT'd with no advisories. It also had the triple carbs overhauled and rolling road tuned. The Carbs, give a fantastic induction growl on the open road. Belts and hoses have been replaced. The car also has the classic Blockley tyres, with very good tread remaining. Challenger E Types benefit from a superb owners club, with 1st class support for members.
