Lovely example of a classic Mercedes fitted with the well-regarded M112 V6 engine. The car has been owned and appreciated by the same family since new. Having inherited the car last year, I am reluctantly having to move it on as I am unable to give it the care and attention that it deserves. Dry stored until recently. Low mileage given its' age. Comes with a complete service history. A new oil cooler and catalytic converter have been fitted during my ownership, and the quick-change aftermarket head unit has recently been replaced with a more modern Blaupunkt unit that has bluetooth. Drives perfectly and is extremely refined and smooth, as you would expect. As with any car of this age, it does have its' foibles. There is a minor oil leak coming from one of the auxiliary components on the passenger side. The side sill has had new metal welded and been rustproofed. Whilst it is structurally sound and rust-free, it would require paintwork to bring it to factory condition. There is also some very minor bubbling starting to occur at the rear wheel arches. However, on the whole, the car is solid mechanically and visually, which is a testament to the care it's' been given over the years. Private plate not included with sale, however, a new plate will be supplied.
